At 56 years old, Kerstin Tristan is both a mother and a grandmother. Yet, her interests extend beyond what is typically expected of a grandmother. She has a passion for body modification art, especially tattoos.
Currently, her body is adorned with tattoos from head to toe, a commitment that required a significant financial investment. Interestingly, her love for tattoos wasn’t always this strong. She admitted that until 2015, she actually despised tattoos. So, what led to her change of heart? It was in that very year that she decided to get her first tattoo, which completely transformed her outlook on the art form.
“I simply just wanted to try something new. We all live just once, and I thought that at my age, something real has to come,” she expressed.
Since 2015, she has invested around 30,000 euros (approximately US $32,000) solely on tattooing her body. Fortunately, her bold choices have garnered her a lot of attention and admiration.
Her Instagram boasts over 190,000 followers, and her TikTok videos have racked up millions of views.
She isn’t shy about flaunting her appearance! On Instagram, she shares photos showcasing her entire tattooed body. However, she didn’t always look this way; just ten years ago, she was free of tattoos and appeared quite different. Occasionally, she shares comparison images to highlight her remarkable transformation.
The influencer from Germany features stunning rose tattoos on her legs, a leopard print design on her shoulders, and numerous intricate portraits on her arms. These tattoos are just a few among the many that cover her body.
She takes pride in her current appearance, stating, ‘When I look at myself in the mirror, I see a beautiful meadow full of flowers that one has to love.’
And she’s not the only one who appreciates her appearance; one fan commented, “A beautiful work of art.” Meanwhile, another individual remarked, “Wow, stunning photo.”
